We had a computer system to run a basic tote but it was difficult to use and was tied to the members database. We recently changed to TouchTote and our profits soared mainly due to punters being able to choose a wide range of bets and adding lucky dips in addition to their normal bets.
We used to do a meat draw every Friday but it became too expensive to buy the prizes. Now with the 1 - 18 treble draw there is no initial outlay. We can just operate the tote; the punters love it, and we don't have to spend money up front. We also use it at other times, not just Friday, whenever we have a large enough crowd we just announce a draw.
Getting this system in was the best thing we ever did. It so easy to use and because the punters have confidence in it we make more money. We used to run paper based totes, which cost in tickets and envelopes, and seemed to take forever to check for winners. Now the results are available at the push of a button and there is no danger of missing any winning tickets. I would recommend the Touchtote system to any club.
We are a large club and we do a Bingo Forecast and Number Tote every night except Wednesday. We turn over nearly £250,000 on our totes. Without this system we couldn't possibly manage. It's so quick when selling tickets and the results are available immediately.
Club bingo is universally popular, and the addition of a Bingo Forecast gives added interest. The forecast is similar to a normal letter or number tote, but as it involves the numbers 1 – 90 and as the winning numbers are decided by the Bingo game, the prize often rolls over. And as the prize money increases week on week, so does the attraction to punters. The Bingo Forecast therefore gives clubs the opportunity to add variety to the lotteries on offer, where even modestly sized clubs can offer large cash prizes.
Here’s how it works: The club selects a particular bingo game (usually the late flyer) that will yield the winning numbers. A bet is a single unordered pair of numbers between 1 and 90. Betting is closed at the beginning of the bingo session, and at the end of that session the winning numbers are entered into the system. The Touchtote system then searches for winning tickets. If there are none the prize rolls over.
The club specifies the percentage of profit it takes from each draw, so increasing its profit as the prize grows. As with other Touchtote lotteries, there is the facility for regular bets, fielded bets and lucky dips, thus allowing punters to make regular and additional bets as they wish.
Letter totes are enduringly popular and a staple of club lotteries. For clubs this lottery, as with the number tote, provides a stable revenue stream. In the past, however, this has been at the cost of a lot of work for club officials who have to check through all the entered bets, and the constant risk of overlooking a winning ticket. The Touchtote system eliminates both of these problems, encouraging trust in the betting by punters, and avoiding the risk of loss of revenue for the club.
Here’s how it works: A bet is a selection of three unordered letters of the alphabet. At close of betting a random letter generator delivers the winning letters, which are then entered into the Touchtote system (in all lotteries supported by Touchtote winning numbers or letters are generated elsewhere, never by the system itself. This is essential if punters are to have trust in the integrity of the betting). The system then searches for all of the winning tickets, and produces a receipt listing who has won, the amount of prize money per winning ticket, and the profit made by the club.
Simple. But the Touchtote system offers clubs and punters more than this. One of the limitations of paper based lotteries is that they tend to encourage regular betting only, and the revenue for the club can be quite small. Even computerised systems have tended to operate on this basis, thus relying entirely on the loyalty of club members. Touchtote has changed all that. The Touchtote system allows fielded, perm and lucky dips to be entered, as well as regular bets. This facility not only adds interest to the lottery, but enables occasional club users to enter bets (and regulars to make additional bets). So clubs can now increase the profitability of the Letter Tote without adding to their workload. All the information is available at the touch of a button.
Number totes are enduringly popular and a staple of club lotteries. Their popularity lies in the fact that the games are engineered so that the odds suit a clubs particular situation. You can have a tote for any range of numbers and then require two, three or more numbers to be drawn and so determine the likelihood and regularity of winning shares. For clubs these lotteries, as with the Letter Tote, provide a stable revenue stream.
Here’s how it works: As an example let’s look at the 1-21 Treble Tote. A bet is a selection of three unordered numbers between one and twenty-one. At close of betting a random number generator delivers the winning numbers, which are then entered into the Touchtote system (in all lotteries supported by Touchtote winning numbers or letters are generated elsewhere, never by the system itself. This is essential if punters are to have trust in the integrity of the betting). The system then searches for all of the winning tickets, and produces a receipt listing who has won, the amount of prize money per winning ticket, and the profit made by the club.
Simple. But the Touchtote system offers clubs and punters more than this. One of the limitations of paper based lotteries, apart from the fact that they are open to abuse, is that they tend to encourage regular betting only, and the revenue for the club can be quite small. Even computerised systems have tended to operate on this basis, thus relying entirely on the loyalty of club members. Touchtote has changed all that. The Touchtote system allows lucky dips (single, perm and field bets) to be entered, as well as regular bets. This facility not only adds interest to the lottery, but enables occasional club users to enter bets (and regulars to make additional bets). Gaming provides a major revenue stream in any club, to obtain the maximum benefit it needs to operate efficiently and transparently. TouchTote systems provide both of these. The success of our systems is based firmly on consumer confidence. TouchTote admimisters the betting, but is unconnected to the draw itself. Clubs continue to use random number generators for the actual draw, and enter the winning numbers into the TouchTote system.
As customers have confidence in the system their willingness to participate increases, and so do the clubs profits. TouchTote is easy to operate, checks all the tickets, identifies the winners, and tells you imediately how much profit the game has made. The details of all games are held in the system providing an audit trail and the draw results can be automatically posted on your website.
Clubs using the TouchTote system have seen profits from gaming increase dramatically. As a result TouchTote has a lot of very satisfied customers, a fact which keeps us equally happy.

We will soon be introducing raffles into the TouchTote system. This will save you money by eliminating the need to buy pre-printed tickets. In the meantime you can add the results of your own raffles, meat and beer draws etc. to the raffle results page on the free website we provide you.
This keeps your customers fully informed and encourages them to look at what else is happening in the club.
As part of the TouchTote package we offer a free website where you can promote your club and keep your members informed of what’s happening.
A typical site will have a front page describing the club and its facilities. This can include a photo gallery to showcase your function rooms. There is a page dedicated to ‘What’s on’ where you can list live entertainment, bingo and special events. The Lottery results section will list the results of your lotteries and raffles. Our TouchTote system will automatically send the results to your website; you can augment those with the results of your own raffles and draws.
