Why is it called touchtotesystem?

The system has been designed to run using a touch screen, making it very natural and easy to operate. However we can also supply a specially designed keyboard instead should you prefer that.

Can anyone operate the machine for a draw?

The system is very easy to operate. To log into the system you will need a user name and password assigned by your clubs system administrator(s).

Can I change the supplied draws to suit the way we do things in our club?

Yes. Whoever has administrator rights to the system is then able to alter such features as the cost of a bet, the percentage profit to the club, whether the draw should be rolled over, the maximum size of a permed bet etc. More complex changes will be completed free of charge by Webintellect.

Can I have a rollover facility to increase the prize money and entice punters to bet more?

Yes. Any draw can be configured to roll over. The Bingo forecast is always rolled over if not won as the winning numbers are taken from the bingo game.

Can I run different draws on the same night?

Yes, definitely. You can exit out of a draw and go into another with a few keyboard presses. So you could sell tickets for one draw say between 7:30 and 8:00 and then switch to another draw and sell tickets for that one between 8:00 and 9:00. But to maximise takings you could use more than one machine and sell tickets for both draws simultaneously. Information is automatically transferred between the machines and they all update immediately.

Lucky Dip Magic

We had a computer system to run a basic tote but it was difficult to use and was tied to the members database. We recently changed to TouchTote and our profits soared mainly due to punters being able to choose a wide range of bets and adding lucky dips in addition to their normal bets.

Numbers Treble Tote

We used to do a meat draw every Friday but it became too expensive to buy the prizes. Now with the 1 - 18 treble draw there is no initial outlay. We can just operate the tote; the punters love it, and we don't have to spend money up front. The forecast is similar to a normal letter or number tote, but as it involves the numbers 1 – 90 and as the winning numbers are decided by the Bingo game, the prize often rolls over. Here’s how it works: The club selects a particular bingo game (usually the late flyer) that will yield the winning numbers. A bet is a single unordered pair of numbers between 1 and 90. Betting is closed at the beginning of the bingo session, and at the end of that session the winning numbers are entered into the system. The Touchtote system then searches for winning tickets. If there are none the prize rolls over.

The club specifies the percentage of profit it takes from each draw, so increasing its profit as the prize grows. As with other Touchtote lotteries, there is the facility for regular bets, fielded bets and lucky dips, thus allowing punters to make regular and additional bets as they wish.

As part of the TouchTote package we offer a free website where you can promote your club and keep your members informed of what’s happening.

A typical site will have a front page describing the club and its facilities. This can include a photo gallery to showcase your function rooms. There is a page dedicated to ‘What’s on’ where you can list live entertainment, bingo and special events. The Lottery results section will list the results of your lotteries and raffles. Our TouchTote system will automatically send the results to your website; you can augment those with the results of your own raffles and draws.
